Summer STEM Series at Metro West Housing Solutions

Metro West Housing Solutions and CSU Extension have joined together to offer STEM classes to kids at four of our apartment homes – Lamar Station, Maplewood, Cedar Gardens and Fifty Eight Hundred.

Children, ages 7 to 15, interested in the program gather for one hour each week to explore the natural world through a variety of hands-on activities including rock and mineral testing, soil science, beekeeping, terrariums and other arts and crafts.

“This is a great way to keep our student residents engaged and learning through the summer months in a fun and interactive way,” said Daniela Dillon, Resident Services Manager for MWHS.
