Dear MWHS Community,

You may have heard that the federal government has shut down. We know news like this can feel unsettling, so we want to reassure you right away: your housing is secure, and Metro West Housing Solutions remains open and here for you.

At this time, our agency has received funding that will allow us to continue making HAP payments through the end of December, 2025. Beyond that point, if Congress does not take action to end the shutdown or pass additional appropriations, there may be delays or interruptions to HAP disbursements. We are doing everything within our control to manage the situation, but continued funding for HAP contracts depends on Congressional action. We’ll keep a close eye on the situation and share updates on this page as they become available. In the meantime, please know that we’re committed to supporting you and our community, as always.
